The Opening Week of My First Class

I chose to focus on entrepreneurship in my education because of a desire to be a successful author and copywriter. Although I have many years of experience, I lack the mind of an entrepreneur. This shortcoming is something I intend to strengthen, so that I can share my work with others and make a living wage doing it.

Lessons Learned
Three important things I learned this week include the following:
1.      The greatest leaders in our country and in my church are men and women who are highly educated in both the temporal things of the world and the spiritual things of God.
2.      I learned from Guy Kawasaki how important it is, and that it's okay, to do what you love. Doing and working for things we have no passion for makes us miserable. There is no purpose in seeking a career or success only for the income.
3.      A video message from President Hinckley impressed upon me how important it is for me to stand tall as I seek education and knowledge hand in hand with righteous goals and behavior. My representation as a disciple of Christ will not only help me find success, but find peace as I set an example for others to follow. The world needs more righteous and Godly leaders in all career paths and leadership roles.

Lessons Not Learned
1.      Outside of my business class this week, I had a problem finding out how to tract beginning sales on Amazon for my newest release.
2.      I am unable to load my current release book cover onto Goodreads. I suspect this may have to be done by an independent reviewer.
